The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Timeless Beauty Salon, 1610 Commons Drive, Suite 26 in Geneva on July 10. The Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Buddy’s Home Furnishings with a ribbon cutting with city Councilwoman Rose Martinez and Mavilen Silva, chief of staff for Sen. Cristina Castro. This franchise, at 607 Dundee Ave., is owned by a local family and the first in the Chicago-area to provide rent-to-own furniture, appliances, and electronics.
