Elgin City Councilwoman Rose Martinez joined Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce staff, ambassadors and local businesses attending a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Paul Davis Emergency Services, 1700 Todd Farm Road in Elgin. The firm provides services for cleanup and repair due to water, fire, mold, storms, and other disasters.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Timeless Beauty Salon, 1610 Commons Drive, Suite 26 in Geneva on July 10. Letisia Willis cut the ribbon held by Neil Johnson, Geneva Chamber of Commerce board member, and Zach Norbut, from Sweet Sensations, a chamber member. They were surrounded by friends, Geneva chamber staff, ambassadors, and board members.

The Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand opening of Buddy’s Home Furnishings with a ribbon cutting with city Councilwoman Rose Martinez and Mavilen Silva, chief of staff for Sen. Cristina Castro. This franchise, at 607 Dundee Ave., is owned by a local family and the first in the Chicago-area to provide rent-to-own furniture, appliances, and electronics.
