Mooseheart Holiday Lights returns with mix of new, favorite displays
A popular holiday tradition - the Mooseheart Holiday Lights - is back for its 11th year.
The show traditionally runs from the day after Thanksgiving through New Year's Day - and this year's show is no exception. The show kicked off Nov. 27 and closes Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. The show is open from 5-9 p.m. nightly.
Visitors to this year's show will enjoy 1.8 miles of light displays. While some old favorites will be seen, there are always new displays to discover - and even returning displays are placed in different spots.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the popular Santa Claus evenings have been canceled this year. However, anyone who wishes to mail a letter to the North Pole can do so from a special Tommy Moose Mailbox - and delivery to Santa is guaranteed.
Another difference to the show this year is the admission price. A suggested donation of $20 is requested, but visitors are encouraged to come and enjoy the show and give what they can.
All proceeds benefit Mooseheart, a residential care facility for children and teens in need, from infancy through high school.
