GymQuest Royal Tumble and Cheer takes national title at Xtreme Spirit Nationals
The GymQuest Royal Tumble and Cheer Cheerleading Program achieved a victory at the Xtreme Spirit Nationals held in Grayslake, securing the national champion title in the Junior 3 and Senior 2 divisions and Youth 1 taking home third place. The competition, which took place the first weekend in May, showcased some of the nation’s most talented cheerleading squads, but the RTC team stood out with their exceptional skills, precision and teamwork.
Under the guidance of Toni Nissley, Devon Davis, Taylor Hamilton, Morgan Bilthuis, Kylie Halmon and Velari Dorsey, the RTC cheerleaders displayed an outstanding performance that wowed the judges and the audience alike. Their routine was a blend of athleticism, creativity and passion, reflecting months of hard work, dedication and perseverance.
“We are incredibly proud of our cheerleaders for their outstanding performance at Xtrmee Spirit Nationals,” RTC Director Toni Nissley said. “Their hard work, determination and team spirit have truly paid off, and this victory is a testament to their talent and commitment.”
The RTC Cheerleading Program has a long-standing tradition of excellence, and this national championship adds another impressive achievement to their legacy. The program not only focuses on developing strong cheerleading skills, but also emphasizes the importance of sportsmanship, leadership and community spirit.
