Westfield Old Orchard welcomes summer season with new stores and activations
Westfield Old Orchard is celebrating the arrival of warmer weather by reopening outdoor seating for some of its premier restaurants and introducing a new summer event series. Guests can now enjoy al fresco dining, specials and live music at popular spots including Roka Akor, Bar Siena, Uncle Julio’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Shake Shack, The Hampton Social and more.
The center is also excited to announce a vibrant lineup of upcoming events for the community to enjoy throughout the season:
Little Orchard Kids Club: Starting June 4, join the center on the first and third Tuesday through August at 10 a.m., at the play area near L.L. Bean and Anthropologie for story time, snacks and crafts.
Mimosas & Movement: Enjoy fitness classes led by top instructors from brands like Vuori, Lululemon and Fabletics, followed by brunch specials at the center’s dining destinations such as The Hampton Social, Bar Siena, Tortazo and Nespresso.
Summer Celebration: Enjoy live music, food truck vendors, and family activities on select weekends on The Green near LUSH. More details to come!
FUNBOX: Returning this summer is the ‘World's Biggest Bounce Park’ inflatable entertainment and experience. Tickets are now available to visit on Fridays from 3 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Skokie Car Show: In partnership with the Village of Skokie, visit the west parking lot every Monday evening from 6 p.m. until sunset featuring classic car hobby entertainment, music and giveaways for the entire family.
“Our open-air center is a prime spot to bring the entire family together this summer,” says Westfield Old Orchard general manager, Maegen Akers. “We are thrilled to debut a variety of events to the center this summer and welcome guests of all ages to check out our retailers, dine in our incredible restaurants and stay for the festivities.”
The summer season showcases Westfield Old Orchard's refreshed approach and multiphase development plan. Recently, the center welcomed the newest flagship location of fashion retailer Zara, the opening of Rick Bayless’s latest concept, Tortazo and is preparing to open high-end furniture retailer Arhaus in early June. Westfield Old Orchard will continue to introduce new and enhanced communal outdoor and patio seating throughout the center, reaffirming its commitment to continuously transforming and improving its common areas.
