Shore Community Services prepares to tee off for 29th Annual Golf Outing
Summer is here and the weather is perfect for a golf outing under the sun. So why not grab your clubs and head out to Deerfield Golf Club, 1201 Saunders Road, Riverwoods, on Friday, June 28, for 18 holes, all for a good cause.
Local nonprofit Shore Community Services is hosting its 29th Annual Golf Outing, benefiting those with disabilities in their care.
Tickets start at $275 per person, and $1,000 for a group of four. Each ticket includes 18 holes of championship golf and cart, free practice balls, continental breakfast, and lunch at the club.
If being a spectator is more your game, join for lunch for $50.
Check-in, range balls and continental breakfast will be served starting at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start to follow at 9 a.m.
The Thomas L. McRaith, Jr. Memorial Cup will be awarded to the lowest-scoring foursome. Tom is fondly remembered as an Honorary Board Member who started Shore’s Golf Outing.
