Canopy Home Watch Plus earns accreditation for the sixth year

Canopy Home Watch Plus has earned accreditation from the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) for the sixth year.

The NHWA was formed in 2009, in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org).

Home Watch is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues, which means that it is a service that “keeps an eye on things” at your vacation or primary home while you are not in residence. All principals of NHWA Accredited Member companies are background-checked, insured and bonded.

Owner Stuart Golden has over 30 years of contracting experience, beginning in 1989 with a sales and customer service role, transitioning into management, and eventually leading to the ownership of a successful contracting business for more than two decades. Stu’s extensive background in working with various trades has equipped him with a deep understanding of the critical importance of monitoring unoccupied properties. His expertise in identifying potential areas of concern has been honed through years of practical experience.

Throughout his career, Stu has witnessed many costly (and sometimes tragic) situations arising from unattended properties. These experiences fueled his decision to establish Canopy Home Watch Plus. His goal is to protect both property and homeowner by providing meticulous Home Watch services.

Stu’s dedication to his clients is evident in his personalized approach to Home Watch services. He understands that each property is unique and tailors his inspections to meet the specific needs of every homeowner.
