Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake offers ‘Parents Day Out’

Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake is now taking enrollment for its new “Parents Day Out” program.

The outreach program reflects the church’s mission statement of “Sharing God’s Grace with all through our rich traditions of faith, family and community.”

The program will serve families in the congregation, as well as the Lily Lake, St. Charles, Elburn and surrounding communities. They follow the Central Unit District 301 school calendar. The program offers a caring, nurturing, and safe environment for your child.

While your child is at Grace's Parents Day Out, they are learning through play in a fun and engaging way. Children have the opportunity to build socialization skills and other developing skills such as number, color, and shape recognition as they learn through play.

The program for ages 3 to 5 will be offered from 9:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Mondays and/or Wednesdays, Sept. 9 to May 21, at the church, 5N600 Hanson Road, just east of Route 47 in St. Charles.

Children should be toilet trained. Experienced and dedicated staff provide a 1:5 ratio for 3- to 5-year-olds. The teachers are Red Cross certified in child CPR and first aid.

A typical daily schedule at Parent's Day Out includes: music; indoor and/or outdoor gross motor time (weather permitting); snack and lunch; crafts; Circle Time with storytelling, color/shape/number reinforcement and a Bible story; and cooperative free play

Tuition is $36 per day, per child. It is due the first week of each month. Sign up at www.graceoflilylake.org/pdo.
