Join in exploring four Wilmette gardens and learn more about their unique designs and features, as well as the exterior architecture and history of their adjoining homes. Pollinator Party Drop-In: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 30, at Indian Prairie Public Library, 401 Plainfield Road, Darien. Stop by Keshav's Garden for a celebration of pollinators hosted by the Darien Garden Club and Indian Prairie Public Library in honor of National Pollinator Month. Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation and DGC experts share knowledge, give advice on planting garden habitats for pollinators and other important insects. Tri-Village Garden Club Garden Walk: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 13. The Tri-Village Garden Club hosts a benefit garden walk, showcasing seven gardens created by local, community gardeners in Bartlett, Hanover Park and Streamwood. The gardens were hand selected by the club based on outstanding landscape design, use of perennial, annual and native flowers and overall visual impact. Club members will be on hand to answer questions and share gardening expertise. A garden boutique will also be part of the walk, with gardening-related items for sale.
